About the Speaker
Jim Sheppard started his career in 1985 as a part time front service clerk in Jacksonville, Florida. Jim was promoted into a leadership role in 1989 as an assistant manager. Jim has had he opportunity to work in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina during his 27 years with Publix Supermarkets. One pinnacle of his career was being part of the leadership team that opened the first Publix store outside of Florida, in Savannah Georgia in 1991. These experiences led to his promotion to Store Manager in 1995. In 2007 Jim was selected to fill the role of District Manager and relocated to Brevard County from the Jacksonville area with his wife and two daughters. Jim currently supports twelve stores and one Publix Pix in Brevard County. |
