About the Speaker

Michael D. Ford, CFPIM, CSCP, CQA, CRE, CQE, is Principal of TQM Works Consulting, based in upstate New York.  He provides innovative solutions based on 25 years of experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing, and consulting.  Michael's work history includes software implementation, business planning, inventory control, distribution planning and corporate training.  Mechael is a leading educator and speaker having presented at over 230 industry events to local, regional and international audiences across North America, Nigeria and S. Africa.  This includes leading an educational session as the APICS International Conference & Expo held this past October in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Michael Ford has experience with wide range of clients, from engineer-to-order to make-to-stock, including consumer products, contract manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, service organizations, government agencies and department of defense contractors.

Mr. Ford has presented corporate training onsite for all of the mafor manufacturers in the greater Binghamton NY area, as well as teaching classes for Penn State, Binghamton University, Elmira College, Broome CC, Morrisville College, Tompkins Cortland CC and Finger Lakes CC.  He has over 4,000 hours of classroom experience, averaging 4.5/5.0 on instructor evaluations.

TQM Works Consulting is a value-added solutions provider, specializing in the delivery of corporate training.  Their goal is to be a "one-stop shopping" training solution, offering a wide range of topics from technical skill sets (supply chain logistics, lean, forecasting, MRP, technical writing, etc.) to soft skills (communication, team-building, ethics, leadership, etc.)
